The purple circle indicates how many of the installed packages have an available update.

Purple serves as a signal color in Borlabs Cookie and guides you through the plugin by showing you where to go next. As soon as you open any page in Borlabs Cookie, the purple circle disappears. Instead, a purple icon will appear next to the library.

Once in the library, you will find the purple icon under the "Installed Packages" tab.

When you get there, the package details buttons will turn purple. This means that you can already see from the overview that an update is available.

In the detailed views, you can check which version of the package you currently have installed, and what the version number of the updated package is.

Further down in the detailed view you will find the purple button to update the package.
