Google Consent Mode v2
Borlabs Cookie 3.0 has already supported Consent Mode v2 since November 2023. A detailed article on how to set it up is available at the following link: https://borlabs.io/kb/setup-google-tag-manager-local-in-borlabs-cookie-3-0/
The integration of our Consent Mode has been tested by independent Google expert Simo Ahava, co-founder of Simmer, and found to be correctly implemented.
The advantage of Consent Mode v2 is that it is based entirely on JavaScript and can be integrated independently of us or the Google CMP Partner Program.
Our ready-made packages and detailed documentation enable the implementation of Advanced consent mode within a few minutes. They also support complex configurations of the Basic consent mode via the Google Tag Manager.
Ready-made packages are available for Google Analytics and Google Ads that support both the Advanced consent mode and the Basic consent mode.
Google CMP Partner Program
Our registration with the Google CMP Partner Programme was submitted at the beginning of January 2024. However, due to high demand, there are significant delays in certification by Google. As we have already signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with Google, we are currently not authorised to disclose any further details until our certification is complete.
We would like to emphasise again that such certification is not required for the use of Consent Mode. The main purpose of the certification is to provide Google with a list of partners who have correctly integrated Consent Mode into their Consent Management Platform in accordance with Google's technical specifications and enable an uncomplicated setup.
