  • ERROR RESOLVED An error occurred during the migration to 3.3.7 or a later version due to an adjustment in 3.3.7 made in response to WordPress 6.8. However, this update provides a simple way to migrate from Borlabs Cookie 2.3.x to Borlabs Cookie 3.x again. This update does not automatically enable the upgrade request to version 3.0 as announced in the e-mail.

  • ERROR RESOLVED Due to changes introduced in WordPress 6.8, an issue affected the automatic update process. This update may need to be installed manually via the plugin management. After the update, the automatic plugin update in the Borlabs Cookie Dashboard settings works correctly again.

  • ERROR RESOLVED In rare cases, if your WordPress installation is misconfigured, get_home_url() may not return a valid URL. This caused an error in the Content Blocker Manager.

  • IMPROVED A new setting "Auto Update Time Span" has been introduced to replace the previous setting. You can now define a 2-hour window during which Borlabs Cookie will install package updates. The exact time when an update will be applied is shown in the package details of any package with an available update.
  • IMPROVED The translation system no longer attempts to translate placeholders.

  • ERROR RESOLVED The aria-hidden attribute is now correctly removed when the Dialog is closed.
  • ERROR RESOLVED An error notice was previously triggered when a Service Cookie lacked a hostname or path. This has been resolved.
  • ERROR RESOLVED An error notice was shown when WordPress failed to return a home URL via get_home_url(). While a missing home URL indicates a misconfiguration in WordPress, Borlabs Cookie will now handle this case more gracefully without triggering an error.
